The weather-resistant, stretch-woven soft-shell fabric and variegated-fiber R2 insulation, bonded together, create a technical package that stretches fully and layers smoothly. Burly fabric reinforces the shoulders and sleeves. Finer points include easy-gliding Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) zippers; a spindrift-blocking neck gasket closure; long-opening hand pockets with thin-and-light zippers for core ventilation; and anatomically contoured cuffs.
